Delivery areas - Delays - Shipment costs

Delivery dates and shipment costs are communicated for every order whilst placing the order. These will also be confirmed by e-mail after the order has been placed.
Within the UK and the European countries you have the choice between a normal or express delivery. Express delivery costs are calculated depending on the country, size, weight and quantity ordered.

If you are not in when the goods are delivered, the driver will put a card through your door. If the product is delivered via DPD (small products under 30kgs) they will automatically attempt a second delivery on the next business day (free of charge).

You can also opt for an upgrade delivery: choose a morning or an afternoon slot or a Saturday morning for a small additional charge (amount indicated on the card).
If your order is delivered via courier (Dachser) you will have to call them and re-arrange another delivery.

> If one or several items are not in stock when placing your order, the delivery times will be extended as indicated in your shopping basket.
Outside European Union, customs duties and local taxes will be borne by the recipient.

Recycling old electrical items

If you’re buying a new electrical item, we will recycle your old one for free.

Why recycle?

Unwanted electrical equipment is the UKs fastest growing type of waste. Many electrical items can be repaired or recycled, saving natural resources and the environment.  If you do not recycle, electrical equipment will end up in landfill where hazardous substances will leak out and cause soil and water contamination – harming wildlife and also human health.

We can help

We are pleased to offer our customers the chance to recycle their old electrical items.

When purchasing an equipment from us, if you have an old equipment to recycle, please contact us to organise the return shipment, as indicated in the Returns section above. This shipment will be free of charge.

To remind you that old electrical equipment can be recycled, it is now marked with a crossed-out wheelie bin symbol. Please do not throw any electrical equipment (including those marked with the crossed out wheelie bin symbol) in your bin.

What is WEEE?

The Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires countries to maximise separate collection and environmentally friendly processing of these items.  In the UK, distributors (including retailers) must provide a system which allows all customers buying new electrical equipment the opportunity to recycle their old items free of charge. Those establishing their own take-back scheme must as a minimum offer all customers buying new electrical equipment free take back of their old electricals on a like-for-like basis.

Find more information on WEEE recycling, and locate your local recycling centre, at www.recyclenow.com.
