This series of "Figures", figurines, objects without purpose, comes from the Alessi's desire to tackle the intriguing world of porcelain figurines.
PRESEPE represents a magic world where the discreet and symbolic presence of the small ornament can be regarded as an inspirational and consolatory whim. Each figurine is handmade.

ORIEN TALES : THE COLLECTION IS GROWING...

Designed by Stefano Giovannoni, “Birds & Clouds” is part of the OrienTales project, with which A di Alessi is continuing its successful collaboration with the National Palace Museum of Taiwan.
The set is made of fine bone china, and the pieces increase in size: the smallest cloud is used as a chopstick holder, the medium sized one as a saucer for soy sauce, and the biggest is a large plate.
The objective of this second collection is to improve the "quality", both by introducing new formal themes, and by working with a wider range of materials (fine bone and bakelite) and more detailed decorations.

The KIWI Watering can, designed by Donato D'Urbino and Paolo Lomazzi.
The long spout and perfect balance enables easy control of the flow and pouring direction of the water. After usage, the flat shaped rear of the can allows it to be stored in a vertical position, minimising the storage space required.
