  "Alessi began to work with Zaha Hadid back in the Nineteen Eighties, but to date, it had been impossible to turn the ideas into mass production objects. Following the participation in "Tea & Coffee Towers", relations intensified and finally this sculpturesque Flower vase can be included in next season's new items. Its outline cleaves the three-dimensional nature of space with a force similar to that of an arctic crevasse. The twisted walls accentuate the verticality and the plastic stress is embodied in a composure of algid perfection which takes time for the eyes to get accustomed to, as though one were looking at the reflection of perpetual snow."
