Contemporary spirit and traditional methods... Since it began in 1987, the development of nanimarquina has been based on a very clear idea: the passion for designing rugs.
The Cuks Rug is woven from a soft blend of wool and jute, with the woolen strands left long to create a minimalist revision of the shag rug. Straying from the monochromatic tendencies of modern floor coverings, the Cuks Rug is lively and graphic while still maintaining a formality suitable for a lobby or living room.
nanimarquina has been designing rugs paying by special attention to the research of rawmaterials and manufacturing processes. Cuks is hand loomed. It uses a manually actuated loom. It consists of a device that allows the insertion and extraction of rods that fix the height of the pile, also allowing it to be cut. It uses three warps and one woof interconnected, forming a rigid and sturdy structure that holds the wool. It allows the production of both looped and cut pile.
Cuks rug is available in three colours and three dimensions.
