    description

  These very beautiful cups were created by the architect David Chipperfield. They complete the collection '' Il caffé Alessi'' inspired by the initial operation Tea & Coffee Towers presented in 2003. This one had for object the creation of services to coffee and to tea by the biggest international architects, confronted for the first time to the design of objects. These realized products are almost completely in silver and in limited edition to 99 copies became collection pieces. In the way to be available for the general public, Alessi asked the authors of Tea & Coffee Towers to draw cups in porcelain that a condensed creation spirit that animated their initial project. David Chipperfield remained faithful to its departure theories, while creating a cup to the fluid and stripped lines.
