Sunlight brings the natural oil in the wood to the surface, where it oxidises and forms the unique silvery-grey patina. By means of WIG welding we achieve neat welding seams. After welding, the seams are hand-pickled and polished so as to avoid any blue edges and ensure a fine sheen.
