    description

  Behind Studio Lo are hidden Eva Guillet and Aruna Ratnayake who are working jointly since 2003. Eva Guillet is designer and plastician. She was formed at the ENSAAMA (Olivier de Serres school) then in scenography at the School of Decorative Arts of Paris. Aruna Ratnayake is designer and illustrator. After the Boulle School where he passes a diploma of interior architecture then of furniture, he continues studies of philosophy then of visual arts. Their approach of design of object passes by the application of mathematical and geometrical tools. This scientific manner to envisage creation is justified as well by research of a pure formal vocabulary as by the effectiveness of these tools in design of product : matter saving, optimization of the chain of production, standard series. This conceptual rigour does not prevent their creations from conveying a great poetry.
