Graduate of the ENSAAMA, Vincent Baranger, Jean-Sébastien Blanc, Anthony Lebossé, and Claire Renard create the 5,5 Designers in August 2003. During the Salon du Meuble of Paris in 2004,their project REANIM has been noticed. It was a transposition of the surgical vocabulary and methods to the repair of worn pieces of furniture. This exhibition has been followed by the edition of a collection of bandages for furniture. Interested by this new « medicine of the objects », Fabien Bonillo of La Corbeille has invited them to celebrate the 10th edition of the Puces du Design in May 2004. They create the scenography of the event and present a range of objects which, this time, take care to the image of ordinary objects. Their first editions with La Corbeille belong to this set : the Lampe Branchée, the Porte-Cintre and the « Anse de sucre ». In september 2006, the lamp « Abatladeur » is come to enlarge this family of objects which proposes new alternatives of design.
This hall stand is composed of 4 wishbone wood hangers. Stuck by one side, they feature a crown which can receive coats and jumpers.Once again 5.5 Designers astonish us by diverting ordinary goods. 5.5 Designers received the Label Via 2006 for the « portecintre » edited by La Corbeille.
