Random chair is super-light chair made of carbon fibre. The long fibres are soaked in epoxy resin and coiled over a mould by hand. Once hardened, the construction is self-supporting. Bertjan Pot won the Dutch Material Fund award with this design. In 2005, the Stedelljk Museum Amsterdam acquired Random Chair.
