For its first collection, ENO proposed the designers to work from an accurate range of high quality materials: leather, marble, gloss, porcelain, ceramic,... All materials but one... plastic, which was purely and simply banned. Besides this rigorous choice of materials, ENO went all over the world to look for the best know how. François Bernard underlines: ''Behind each object, the most important for us is to feel, even in a minor way, the hand of the artisan, the gesture of the one who made it''.
