01 Detailed description
The bottle cap Spirotosona, which derives its name from the allegorical term "spirits" which is given to strong alcoholic drinks, was originally designed for a famous vodka brand but it was subsequently decided that it wasn't relevant to their brand. However, it perfectly fits the cartoon disposition of Massimo Giacon, who gave it the appearance of a female devil temptress. For this reason it is permanently part of the ludic design group of objects which is well-established in the "A di Alessi" catalogue. It has a conical shape finished by a transparent silicone double gasket, placed on two different sections of the cap. This enables the cap to close all bottles of alcohol on the market perfectly, with a neck diameter of between 17.5 and 18.5 mm. Spiritosona is decorated using pad printing with a large "diabolic" motif. The production material is Surlyn Dupont, used for the injection technique. Spiritosona is available in two colours: red transparent or clear transparent.
