How do we live at home today, how will we tomorrow? What object could we need? The leading rule of the ENO collection is to think through the function and the use of the object, not through the object itself. The 11 selected designers worked on the several rooms of the house - the entrance, the office, the living-room, the bedroom, the kitchen, the bathroom, the toilets, the closets and other shelve units, even strolling in the surroundings of the house (bicycle clip, umbrella ...). They first analysed several behaviours and domestic life moments before thinking about their respective objects. For ENO, it is absolutely not about creating serial objects, "services", what is called "table set" for instance. It is about creating accessories that are part of the daily life, making it easier and prettier. Those objects have the power to wonder, and even to bring a bit of humour...
