Surfaces collection proposes investing the surface of an ordinary archetypical object with a graphic intervention. In response to the over-creation of new shapes, Surfaces chooses to produce a pre-existing shape and create a collection of graphic surfaces that are to be considered as so many design acts. The first volume elected by Domestic is a cylindrical vase in painted white porcelain with a cover letting it be transformed into a vase for a single flower and into a container. Ich&Kar, a tandem of graphic designers who cast an outlandish but qualified gaze on a range of subjects as varied as fashion, gastronomy, music, design and arcchitecture from luxury to consumer goods. Creators of messages and imaginative images turned into visual identity, their aim is to inspire sense with lightness and humour.
