Surfaces collection proposes investing the surface of an ordinary archetypical object with a graphic intervention. In response to the over-creation of new shapes, Surfaces chooses to produce a pre-existing shape and create a collection of graphic surfaces that are to be considered as so many design acts. The first volume elected by Domestic is a cylindrical vase in painted white porcelain with a cover letting it be transformed into a vase for a single flower and into a container. Tado is Mike and Katie, 2 designers based in Sheffield, UK. From their tiny studio they work away very hard, pumping out demented characters and trying their best to make the world a happier place.
