Sweet fish has a soft and sensual look, its shape and dimensions make it pleasant to hold. This fish sugar castor by Stefani Giovannoni is made of ABS (a high quality thermoplastic resin) in three parts, two shells and a cap. Refilling is carried out from the top by taking off the bayonet locking cap. The reedings on the cap have a dual purpose: they are a decorative element that embellishes the sugar spout, but they also make it easier to hold, making opening and closing the sugar bowl more straightforward. Sweet fish is produced in 3 different colours.
The National Palace Museum of Taiwan can be regarded as the Louvre of the East due to the richness and variety of its collections of antiques, paintings and calligraphies, objects, books and documents. Alessi and the NPM of Taiwan Stefano Giovannoni to devise and design a kind of mascot for the new Museum of the XXI century. This gave birth to the families "Mr Chin" in 2007 and "OrienTales" : a series of small characters each depicting a domestic role. These extraordinary artistic collections has allowed Stefano's imagination to run wild, pushing him to measure himself against and apply his contemporary interpretation to the millenniaold tradition of Chinese applied arts.
