"A strong and exclusive presence, with powerful symbolic value and a totally new vision; overlaid planes, some empty and some screened with segments of wire mesh, that come together to wrap and contain the luminous core. The apparently casual way the frames that define the planes are overlaid confers an original and dynamic appearance to each side of the composition, emphasizing the luminous aura created by the combination of fluorescent tube in the central core and the light reflected off the ceiling by the bulb located at the top end. An exciting new chapter in the collaboration between Foscarini and Ferruccio Laviani which since Orbital in 1992, has created a series of lamp sculptures with a marked evocative and emotional value.
