Polished metal stem and base, oval shaped opaline plastic diffuser houses the light source, the power and control (alarm clock, regulation) electronic devices. The diffuser houses high contrast red LED for clarity even from a distance. The display intensity is regulated electronically: maximum when on, minimum when off. An auxiliary battery assures continuity of power in the event of a power cut. On the base, 5 pushbuttons perform the on/off function of the lamp, regulate the time and the alarm for the clock, the sound (buzzer) and/or light.
