It is a new way of living and enjoying artificial light, starting from the positive influences that colours have on human beings, contributing to our psycho-physical wellbeing. Metamorfosi restores light's spectrum of colours, with all their symbolic and actual effects, through a real technological revolution. It allows each of us to choose our own light, to complement, and perhaps alter the environment, and benefit our mood. Man's psycho-physical comfort increasingly affirmed as the crux of the project, finding its natural expression in the study, not only of the "forms" of light but also of its "substance", through the introduction of innovative lamps, to meet the new ever more complex demands of life. The Metamorfosi collection is a single electronic system using three different technologies, each one with different results, designed by well-known Italian and international designers.
Three halogen light sources emit coloured light through the dichroic filters of red, blue and green. 12 chromatic "atmospheres" are permanently memorised in the microprocessor. It is possible to create and memorise, using the remote control, other chromatic "atmospheres".
Table/floor lamp with methacrylate structure and transparent polycarbonate case. The spheric shape and six small feet allow the lamp to be placed at different angles. The cover is fixed with a simple hinge for easy lamp replacement. An alluminium handle makes the lamp easy to move and therefore to use in various environments. the lamps are individually switched to allow selection of colours and light intensity.
