These robust and honest designs mark a return to the original departure point of Tom Dixon's design career, and love of metalwork. With its pyramid square base and impressive show of light reflected from the polished brass shade it is suitable for a variety of interior spaces, contract or residential. Tom Dixon continues to wow the world. This autodidact designer, who also was the head of Habitat, certainly knows what to give his clients. While at Habitat he reissued archive designs by Verner Panton, Ettore Sottsass and Robin Day as well as commissioning new pieces from Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, Marc Newson and Ineke Hans. For the London Games in 2012 Tom Dixon designed lighting, Void and let’s not forget other favourites like the Slab series or the ever-playful Jack lighting series, which comes in a tri-colour range of black, white and fluorescent orange.
