Birillo Toothbrush holder by Alessi

In Milan, the studio of Piero Lissoni designed Birillo, a line of products for the bathroom with the minimalist design which reflects the uncluttered and extremely refined style of very popular designer Piero Lissoni! A collection whose shape resembles to "an imperfect square or a completely wrong circle" as Lissoni himself loves to define it. The Toothbrush holder, made in stainless steel with a mirrored finish or in PMMA with a white mirrored finish, produces a generous dimension of size and depth.

Alessi Italian manufacturing soared to new heights in the 20^th century and one company is synonymous with this lofty ascent. Beginning with coffee sets and trays and by the 1950s collaborating with international architects and designers including Ettore Sottsass, Alessi gained international popularity with its first cult object designed by Richard Sapper in 1978.
