To celebrate over 5 years of collaboration, Alessi and the Campana brothers now present the Blow up - Bamboo collection. These iconic pieces, available only in stainless steel until today, are now presented in a new version made of hand-finished natural material. This shift from cold to warm material reveals not only a new design concept that emphasises manual skills, but also winks at the Campanas' and Alessi's modus operandi.
"Blow up Bamboo collection" express with forces, the talent and the exceptional language of the brothers Campana. This collection evokes the game of the Mikado and is born idea to assemble hypothetical fragment of bamboo while knoting them between them in the way to form different types of containers. Big Art!

Alessi Italian manufacturing soared to new heights in the 20^th century and one company is synonymous with this lofty ascent. Beginning with coffee sets and trays and by the 1950s collaborating with international architects and designers including Ettore Sottsass, Alessi gained international popularity with its first cult object designed by Richard Sapper in 1978. Linking the present to the past, Sapper designed an espresso coffee pot. Philippe Starck was soon to follow with the Juicy Salif lemon squeezer, which has found its way into the Whitney Collection in New York. In fact, Alessi products can be found in museums across the world. Innovation and experimentation are two keys to understanding Alessi’s success.
