VERPAN, the Danish producer of some of Verner Panton's most iconic designs, has done it again. This spring they will reintroduce the world to four Panton works that were made in small quantities years ago, but never before launched commercially. The Cloverleaf Sofa is a good case in point. Designed for the legendary Visiona 2 exhibition in Cologne in 1970, the sensuous seating arrangement has never before been produced commercially. Cloverleaf's modular sections link together in myriad ways to fit an endless variety of spaces and tastes. Prada was so captivated by the concept that it chose the Cloverleaf for its own stores in several cities worldwide - upholstered in signature green velvet.
