Gothic Chair Chair by Moooi

The Gothic Chair by Studio Job was presented for the first time in the Job Lounge of the Groningen Museum, a showpiece in which the Gothic chair is exposed in a sophisticated and playful environment designed entirely by Studio Job. Studio Job re-interprets the solidity and dark elegance of gothic medieval castles in an ironic way. In this creative process the dark solid wood of gothic chairs is replaced with the lightness of plastic in many different colors, bringing back youthful memories of playfulness and joy.
