The Japanese dishes Wasara evoke the virtues of an exceptional culture in many respects. Designed and produced by the chief and creator Schinishiro Ogata, it consists of fibers of reeds and of some residue got back during the pressing of the sugar cane, the bagasse. Light and naturally decomposable, this material answers all the functions of single-use dishes. In the sublime and organic forms given to these plates and to these bowls answer harmoniously the most subtle flavours according to the Japanese tradition. With Wasara, Virages demonstrates that creativity and ecology are henceforth inseparable, for the happiness of our generation and the following ones. A part of the profits generated by its marketing is put back in the NPO, Eco Future Fund , organisation of protection of the forest.
