Peninsula Chair - Starck pattern by XO

Amazing ! This version of Peninsula chair is a true museum piece. The face of Philippe Starck is printed on the back. Peninsula was designed by Starck for the Félix restaurant on top of the Peninsula restaurant in Hong Kong. The design of this chair is classic, almost classical and was designed to clash with the avant-garde design of the restaurant. This is a fine addition to any dining or living room.

xO was created in 1984 with Gérard Mialet in order to edit Philip Starck’s own creations since at the time Starck was busy working on other projects like the Elysée for Mitterand or the Café Costes in Paris. xO was created during these years of intense creativity, so that he could produce his own furniture. xO is now a collaboration with some of the best talent going in the design world: Marcel Wanders, Karim Rashid, Christian Ghion and Eugenie Quitllet.
