Since 1927, Tolix® creates iconic furniture pieces that combine creativity, design and functionality. Proud of our heritage and contribution to world design with its international-renowned models such as the A Chair, Tolix® has kept for over 95 years the French way of living also known as “L’art de vivre à la française”.

TOLIX®’s products are entirely MADE IN FRANCE and have remained true to the company’s Burgundian values and origins. All TOLIX®’s products are designed, formed, stamped, welded and hand-assembled at the factory in Autun (the only historical production site).

Despite ongoing modernisation, more than 80% of the product's manufacturing processes involve manual steps. French know-how that TOLIX®is proud to have maintained.

Each product that leaves the workshop is unique and has the Tolix signature stamped into the metal. In 2006, Tolix®received with honour the "Living Heritage Company" label, a mark of recognition. It is awarded by the French state for French companies that has an artisanal or industrial know-how of excellence.

Sustainable development is a constant concern at TOLIX® therefore the subcontractors and suppliers of raw materials selected for Tolix®’s manufacture are mostly located within a radius of less than 400km.

By using steel and stainless steel, recycled and recyclable materials, Tolix® offers lasting collections, resistant to wear and tear over time, as well as to use under extreme weather conditions,while taking care with a regular maintenance by the customer to their beautiful furniture.The oak and Iroko woods used by Tolix® are PEFC* certified. This is a commitment to sustainable consumption, shared with consumers, encouraging them to "consume less, but better ".

* The PEFC label guarantees the consumer that the product he buys comes from responsible sources and that through his purchase, he participates in the sustainable management of forests.

Since the twentieth century, Tolix®has called on a new generation of designers who have brought new energy into the brand: Normal Studio, Patrick Norguet, Pauline Deltour,... The new Tolix®collections are the contemporary expression of industrial design.
