Artemide table lamps – the perfect all-rounders

Artemide table lamps can be used in any setting, for instance on a sideboard, desk or bedside table. Thanks to their high-quality materials, pared-back design aesthetic and bold colours, these lamps are also beautiful sculptural pieces even when switched off. These lamps are perfectly designed for their intended use: the desk lamps emit bright light for working and are adjustable, whilst the lamps for bedside tables and side furniture produce more diffused ambient lighting. This will create a warm and cosy atmosphere in any living room or bedroom. Thanks to their simple yet remarkable design, Artemide table lamps can fit in perfectly with practically any style of décor!

Artemide table lamps for desks

Do you need bright light for working? Then look no further than the following two Artemide classics:

  1. Tolomeo: the Tolomeo table lamp by designer Michele de Lucchi is as stunning as it is practical. The diffuser is adjustable and sits at the end of a swivel arm ensuring that every section of your workspace can be given the right amount of lighting. The lamp is made from sturdy aluminium and is available in various different sizes and colours.
  2. Tizio: the futuristic-looking Tizio lamp is also available in various different sizes. Its swivel arm and rotatable lamp head make it the perfect addition to any desk. Richard Sapper’s classic is now also available as an energy-saving LED version.

Create mood lighting with Artemide table lamps

Unlike the bright desk lamps, Artemide table lamps emit a softer level of lighting. Modern design classics include lamps such as Nessino, Laguna and Meteorite:

  1. Nessino: this lamp made from polycarbonate is a modern reinterpretation of the infamous “Nesso” lamp. Its gentle light is diffused downwards via the curved shade. This unique designer item by Giancarlo Mattioli is available in many different colours.
  2. Laguna: this minimalist lamp by Matteo Thun consists of a cylindrical bronze-coated base and a spherical shade made from hand-blown Venetian glass. The shade is transparent at the top and opaque at the bottom, thus achieving a soft and gentle level of lighting.
  3. Meteorite: this highly unusual light by Pio & Tito Toso was inspired by traditional Venetian glass-blowing techniques. The spherical shade made from hand-blown glass has an irregular surface made from lots of little honeycomb shapes. This results in fascinating light effects.

Whether you want soft lighting for watching the TV or for settling down to enjoy a nice glass of wine, Artemide table lamps create the perfect warm and homely atmosphere.
