A true all-rounder, renowned for her eclectic worlds and reflexive approach to the role of the designer, Matali Crasset is a key figure in French design. Having graduated from the prestigious ENSCI School in 1991, in the early years she collaborated with such truly great designers as Philippe Starck. In 1998, she founded her own agency. Soon, the designer developed numerous large-scale projects, focusing on space as much as objects. Mixing crafts, electronic music, textile industry, communities and even fair trade, her talents took shape across numerous different horizons...
