Summer mood

Shall we dance

Summer pops! Colourful and playful, the sunny days are tinged with the joyful carefreeness of the 90s and its retro-future imagination: a hint of regression sets in, with shades of joyful iridescent folly: objects give you the electrifying energy of clubbing, creative gems flirt with us! What a joy to arrange your exterior spaces to receive guests at a time when the days are getting longer! The prospect of escaping on a trip accompanied by perfectly designed objects, or the quest for escape from your cocoon at the bottom of the garden carry us away. Escape, in complete freedom, play and dance, jump back in time as if to make up for this lost year and make the most of it! So, shall we dance?

The trend of the moment

Reconnections and escapism

A return to essential raw materials, a new definition of mobility… The quest for escape, driven by multiple lockdowns, has shaken up our relationship with consumption and imposes itself, like a dose of regressive recklessness, as a transposition of our desires for freedom. As a result, we set off a little, a lot, madly in search of authenticity and naturalness, right down to the garden: collections designed to be modular, light, low-impact, anchored and reconnected to nature.

The shade

Iridescence

It’s exuberant. Sparkling and festive, the darling of luxury and nostalgic for the 90s ... our summer shade is multiple and responds to the sweet name of iridescence, like a rainbow of candid, futuristic colours, softened by reflections in the glass. A dichroic palette whose colours respond to movement, and questions us about our own versatility, which above all gladly offers us a watchword: have fun!

Discovering

The work of glazed stoneware

The result of an almost Japanese requirement for high standards, infinite patience and transgenerational timelessness, Jars Céramiste cultivates with passion the most solid of ceramics: sandstone. With these insulating virtues, this return to basics proves the power of natural materials. True treasures making up an infinite palette, these enamels are made from vegetable ashes, revealing subtle, fascinating vagaries during firing. Perfection is born out of imperfection!

The icon

Tahiti Lamp
Logo Memphis Milano

One of the icons of Memphis Milano, one of the most influential design movements since the 1980s, is called Tahiti. Its bird's beak, laminate legs, cubist allure and chromatic language worthy of its creator Ettore Sottsass is the prism of a creative freedom claimed in an era of rational design. Art, architecture and design are expressed with bubbling creativity, contained and springing up within this small, iconic lamp.

Pinaut Foundation Bourse du Commerce

Aesthetic shock with minimalist, brutalist looks! Head to Paris to admire the subtle renovation of the Bourse du Commerce by Tadao Ando. The highlight of this architectural work, which creates a dialogue between new and old, is the magnified circularity of the dome, whose cylindrical walls guide our gaze and our body towards the fresco that crowns the space. The Pinault collection is a journey in perpetual motion to express the collector's attention to emerging trends. Complete work, with pieces by the Erwan Bouroullec brothers, whose vases and gigantic glass lights produced by Flos attract attention by their character which is at once rough, imperfect and sensual.
