But it was Dutchman, Alex Bergman who revolutionized the product in 2002 by creating a brand around it, proving that the Fatboy could indeed sell itself. A strategy of the over-sized life, the Fatboy family tree includes gigantic lamps, magical hammocks, and umbrellas, bringing about the ‘wonder-fuller life’.
