The AJ Royal pendant was designed in 1957 by Arne Jacobsen, the famous Danish modernist architect. This lamp was originally created to fit out the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. A true icon of Scandinavian design, this aluminium dome combines pure, timeless design with excellent lighting qualities. The light directed downwards is functional and not dazzling because it is filtered through a frosted acrylic diffuser disc. A luminous halo escapes from the top of the dome, through the steel slats. This new version is equipped with an integrated, efficient and economical LED light source. The AJ Royal pendant adapts to all types of environments: kitchens, dining rooms, bedrooms, restaurants, cafes or conference rooms... Its vintage style will always look sensational!
