The Stelton Cylinda Line product range was designed in the 1960's by the Danish architect Arne Jacobsen.Jacobsen's design range was incredibly modern for the 1960s. His designs were so much so in fact that the technology of the day was not advanced enough to be able to produce a seamless Cylinda, and so it was a number of years before these products were commercially produced. This ash tray has a swivel top that allows the ash to be tipped into the base thus keeping the table looking tidy. It is easy to dismantle for cleaning purposes.
