From the Spanish designer, Jordi Lopez, Duo is a collection of lamps which represent the duality of light and darkness, as two inseparable elements. The collection was inspired by the most basic of shapes: the circle. Duo consists of two interlocking circles: a metal one and a translucent white acrylic one which contains the LED source. Like a solar eclipse, the circles separate to create the appearance of the light itself. The two circles symbolise light and darkness, the Sun and the Moon, solidness and emptiness: two immanent elements which coexist in harmony.
