Description

Radical metal… A raw, industrial style for this shelf made of 100% recycled die-cast aluminium. Raw material, solid, primitive shapes: Neo-brutalism comes to design. Both imperfect and aesthetic, the Fracture shelf ultimately exudes a warm feel, far from standardised production by machine or computer. The metal has a rough, slightly uneven finish to maintain an unfinished, authentic look. The undulating outlines of the shelf appear to have been cut in random fashion. These asymmetrical, unstructured shapes echo the raw expression of the material. This shelf evokes a piece of fractured rock. It can be fixed in either direction so that you can decide on its final expression.
