Description

The Halftime chair is characterised by its incredible robustness: it is a durable piece of furniture, designed to be passed down from generation to generation. The Danish design and architecture studio "COBE" designed the new Adidas head office in Germany. It also created the Halftime chair in order to furnish this new building. A combination of traditional and current modernism, the Halftime chair was designed to have the same robust and flexible properties as the building itself. Made from moulded beech plywood with an oak veneer, the seat and backrest are directly attached to the steel tube structure. The perfect combination of robustness and practicality, Halftime is a stacking and extremely solid chair. The versatile Halftime chair suits a great variety of contexts.
