Ombre Table lamp metal black / Metal - Tilting - Northern

A game of shadow and light ... An organic, natural shape for this lamp which looks like a plant with a large leaf. The Ombre (Shade) lamp is the work of French designer and architect Antoine Rouzeau. This steel lamp invites the user to play with shadow and light by manipulating its petal-reflector with its adjustable tilt. The Ombre lamp consists of a compact cylindrical base that houses the light source. It is capped off with a sheet of metal suspended by a thin metal rod jutting up from the base. This adjustable reflector lets you direct the light while offering an impression of lightness to the whole thing. The LED light source located in the cylindrical base gives off functional, indirect lighting, reflected by the inner face of the petal. Antoine Rouzeau: "The essential feature of this object is shadow and light. Like a dance between the two elements. Light is projected onto the sheet of metal, which bounces it back in a soft and diffuse way. A game of reflection then plays out, the contours of the sheet are drawn on the surfaces that surround it."
