Danish modernism ... Produced for the first time in 1963, the P376 pendant has now been reissued. Sculptural, elegant and sophisticated, this pendant is the work of Danish designers Kastholm & Fabricius. Kastholm's experience as a blacksmith combined with Fabricius' cabinetmaker training has led to the creation of sculptural pieces that attract an international audience. Their work has influenced the aesthetics of Danish modernism. Despite working together for less than a decade, Kastholm and Fabricius have left a legacy of work, celebrated in museums around the world. This reissue of the P376 pendant preserves the authenticity of the original design, optimised to emit diffuse, glare-free lighting. The P376 pendant is made up of five concentric metal circles. It is surmounted by a cylindrical section which conceals the bulb. The aluminium finish adds a modern, industrial aspect that contrasts perfectly with the retro shape.
