Description

The origin of the Ping collection comes from a childhood memory of the Franco-Hungarian designer Andras Rigler. That of an old Russian toy: an iron penguin, placed in his grandparents' pantry which, in the mind of the little boy, kept an eye on the comings and goings. The childhood fear gave way to a tender memory and the designer drew on this to sculpt this collection of ceramic containers. Over the course of the experiments and prototypes, the shapes were refined and the Ping family was born, firstly with its baby, mum and dad versions, then with its more imposing shape, the grandfather. Extremely decorative and fun, these containers in the shape of stylised penguins are companions to your everyday life. They will be perfect in an entrance, on a fireplace, in a kitchen, on a shelf, etc. The Franco-Hungarian designer, Andras Rigler, was chosen as designer of the year by ELLE DECORATION Hungary in 2011.
