Mythical and displayed in the greatest museums around the world, Pipistrello is one of those objects that have become part of our universal heritage. A cult design object, the Pipistrello lamp is constantly renewing itself. This Medium version is smaller compared to the original 1965 model. This lamp uses an energy-saving, efficient LED light source (irreplaceable, integrated LED source). Created by Gae Aulenti in 1965, this lamp with its undulating lampshade looks like a bat (“pipistrello” in Italian). It gives out a pleasant, diffuse light. A stainless-steel telescopic rod system lets you adjust its height (50-62 cm). The lampshade is in opal white methacrylate and the base is aluminium. The lamp is made according to the original 1965 model, in Italy, by the Martinelli Luce factory.
