Designed in collaboration with Native Union, the PR 01 speaker is the fruit of meticulous research work carried out with particular care. Bringing their combined know-how into play, they have created a product with innovative performance and a refined minimalist design. Mixing solid walnut, brass-coloured aluminium buttons and durable fabric, this Bluetooth speaker combines retro design with a real masterpiece of sound! Totally innovative, the PR 01 combines several features: charging station, multimedia hub and speaker. Its Bluetooth wireless connection is AptX-compatible. In addition, it has an invisible drawer that secretly contains all the device’s connections. It has three USB ports, an optical digital audio input and two analogue inputs (on RCA and mini-jack). This allows compatibility with any system (Google home, Google Chromecast, Apple Airport Express, Amazon Echo) and even adapts with other future technologies. Another special feature: this drawer can be used to attach a wireless charger for induction charging. The exceptional quality of bass sound reproduction is provided by the use of two loudspeakers (including one internal woofer), digitally controlled in a hermetic chamber. This system is calibrated on multiple digital amplifiers offering exceptional power and modularity. This incredible speaker was created after seven years of research and development, based on a patent filed in 1976 and adapting it to today’s digital uses. This system, called Active Pressure Reflex, consists of a mid-bass transducer on the front mechanically coupled by a sealed tube to an invisible woofer inside the speaker cabinet. The control of the speaker transducers by DSP and four latest-generation digital amplifiers allow thorough optimisation of this system.
