Description

Sarah Lavoine's Riviera collection features an old-fashioned Art Deco aesthetic, inspired by the French Riviera of the 1920s. This rattan and lacquered wood side table mixes natural material with trendy colour. Evoking the 1960s and 1970s, rattan gives this piece of furniture a vintage look. This retro feel is counterbalanced by the lacquered finish as well as its simple, modern lines. The slender, flared feet hark back to furniture from the 1950s. The rattan’s vertical grooves have a serrated contemporary, feminine and graphic aspect to them. The Riviera table offers a subtle blend of elegance and relaxation that fulfils our need for something different mixed with nostalgia. With its hidden drawer, this small table is perfect at the end of a sofa, as a bedside table or small console in an entrance. This table is handcrafted in Spain.
