Enter the design legend with the reissue of the “Series 430 Chair”, an astonishingly modern piece of furniture created in 1967 by Danish designer Verner Panton. Even though most of the maestro's works have acquired iconic status, the design company for his creations, Verpan, and his widow, Marianne Panton, offer us a seat that’s remained relatively unknown to the general public. With the “Series 430”, Verner Panton wanted to create a chair whose seating comfort could match that offered by an armchair. The challenge paid off brilliantly thanks to a large enveloping backrest and generous padding. The tubular structure is made of epoxy lacquered steel. Highly versatile, the ''Series 430'' chair will look sensational around a dining table, in front of a desk or dressing table, in a sitting area ... An ultra-sophisticated style for this luxurious version of the Series 430 chair with its brass structure (brass-plated steel). The seat is dressed in a superb velvet designed by stylist Raf Simons, former artistic director with Dior. With its “haute couture” feel, the famous “Series 430 Chair” is covered with exclusive fabrics, specially created by renowned designers in collaboration with Kvadrat, the Danish reference for high-end textiles.
