This dinner service gives off a delicious rustic scent while remaining plain and elegant. The English architect, David Chipperfield opts for simple forms and a harmony of pale and natural colours. "Tonale" takes on the clean and Zen forms of local ceramics originating from Korea, Japan and China. The plain and mild hues of the ceramics are directly inspired from the colour range used by the Italian painter, Giorgio Morandi, in his still lifes. "Tonale" is made up of a variety of items: a tray, a carafe, plates, different-sized bowls, glasses and cups. The different elements are made from ceramics, metal, glass and wood. An elegant combination of materials and colours and a multitude of possible combinations. Perfectly suited to modern demands, all the ceramic items are microwave and oven safe. This large ceramic salad bowl (Ø 33 cm x H 9 cm) combines perfectly with the other items from the Tonale collection.
