NUURA

Light, well-being and Scandinavian design

Founded in Copenhagen in 2017, NUURA embodies the excellence of Danish lighting design. Its mission: to create high-end lighting fixtures that promote well-being. The name - "light and honor" - sums up its philosophy: celebrating light as a source of balance and harmony. Combining Nordic aesthetics, noble materials and LED technology, NUURA is a benchmark in contemporary design.

Aesthetics & minimalism

Inspired by Nordic Nature, NUURA favors clean lines, powdery hues and organic shapes. This warm minimalism gives each luminaire a poetic dimension. Collections such as Anoli and Apiales translate the beauty of the natural world into refined luminous objects, emblematic of Scandinavian design lighting.

NUURA: frequently asked questions

Where are NUURA luminaires manufactured?

Designed in Copenhagen, NUURA luminaires are manufactured in Europe and Asia by partner workshops specializing in glass and metal. Each piece follows strict Exercise books drawn up by the Danish team, guaranteeing top-of-the-range quality in line with Scandinavian standards.

How do I care for a NUURA luminaire without altering its finish?

A dry microfibre cloth is all you need. For Blown glass, use lukewarm water and mild Soap. Avoid abrasive products: this method preserves the shine and finesse of metal finishes while respecting the delicacy of handcrafted workmanship.

Do NUURA luminaires use standard bulbs?

Most NUURA fixtures use long-lasting LED technology, providing warm, even light. Some models require replaceable bulbs: choose a 2700 K LED to preserve the soft, enveloping atmosphere characteristic of NUURA creations.
