After graduating from the ECAL in 2017, he went on to study at the Politecnico di Milano, where he honed his skills in renowned studios such as BIG-GAME in Lausanne, Sylvain Willenz in Belgium and Perron & Frères in Paris, before opening his own workshop in the French capital.

His approach lies at the crossroads of technical rigor and poetic gesture: each project, whether furniture, lighting or object, questions the material and its capacity to generate expressive, unexpected and sensitive forms. His research has given rise to such singular pieces as AV02, a Sycamore bench published in 2024, and projects such as Manivelle, Arc and Vase-miroir.
Recognized on the contemporary scene, he collaborates with international publishers such as Hay, for whom he designed the Twist Lamp, and in 2025 was awarded a residency at the Domaine de Keravel. Between methodical precision and inventive freedom, Romain Sillon imposes a universe where each object goes beyond its function to become an aesthetic and sensitive experience.
