Sigurjón Pálsson

Sigurjón Pálsson is a graduate of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. He began his career designing objects for various brands before developing his own projects within his studio. Winner of numerous awards for his work, he has also made a name for himself as a writer of detective novels.

In his creations, he constantly seeks the right balance between form, function and materials, with the ambition of designing objects that are both aesthetically pleasing and coherent.

"What is right is always more beautiful than what is simply beautiful. When form, function and materials harmonize with simplicity, design doesn't need to overdo it. I've always believed that the key to perfection lies in simplicity. The ultimate goal is to achieve the essential, eliminating anything superfluous. "
