The Ethnicraft Second Nature Tabletop (Ø 92 cm ) gives the Ethnicraft round coffee table a whole new look. Its large size features an “Auburn” design with abstract lines, inspired by the shapes and shadows found in nature. The hand-printed glass complements the natural oak veneer that frames the edge of the tabletop. Simply place it on a compatible coffee table to give it a fresh new look. Used on its own, its generous diameter also makes it ideal as a large serving platter.

Natural landscapes translated into abstract forms

The Second Nature collection draws inspiration from details as varied as stacks of stones, tree bark, or the markings on a turtle’s shell. Dawn Sweitzer transforms these natural references into free-form compositions, where blocks of color and irregular shapes take on an almost painterly quality.

In this Auburn version, the warm brown contrasts with areas that reveal the wood’s light tone. The collection thus retains a strong graphic presence while remaining easy to pair with natural materials and neutral color palettes.

The collection is designed by American artist Dawn Sweitzer, whose work draws inspiration from the wide-open spaces of Ohio, her travels, and images she has collected over time. Her compositions blend muted colors, more intense tones, and abstract references.

Yes. This 92-cm-diameter tabletop is designed to fit the 93-cm-diameter Ethnicraft round coffee table. It simply snaps into place on the table to change its appearance, without requiring any special assembly.
