Apple Extra Large Basket: A Giant Apple for Whimsical Storage

With its round shape and adorable stem topped with a leaf, the Apple Extra Large storage basket from Ferm Living makes storage a breeze. Inspired by nature, this apple-shaped basket charms with its playful yet poetic design. Made entirely of hand-woven natural rottan, it adds a warm and authentic touch to a child’s room. A piece that’s as decorative as it is functional, it encourages little ones to enjoy organizing their treasures.

A giant apple with artisanal charm

Designed as part of Ferm Living’s children’s collection, the Apple basket reflects the creative vision of Trine Andersen, founder of the Danish brand, who combines familiar shapes, natural materials, and Scandinavian design. Its handcrafted weave traces the generous curves of an apple, while its lid features the fruit’s characteristic details with a delicately shaped stem and leaf. The natural rottan reveals subtle nuances and irregularities that make each piece unique.

What can you store in the Apple Extra Large basket?

Thanks to its generous size—55 cm in diameter and 70 cm tall—the Apple Extra Large basket offers ample storage space for children’s belongings. Cuddly toys, dolls, toys, and blankets all fit easily inside. Its removable lid allows you to hide the contents, helping you keep the room tidy in just a few simple steps. The side handles make it easy to move as needed.

Where should you place this rattan storage basket?

The Apple rattan basket fits naturally in a child’s bedroom, a playroom, or a corner of the living room dedicated to the little ones. Its soft curves and natural material pair perfectly with light wood furniture, colorful textiles, or Scandinavian-inspired decor. Placed near a bed or bookcase, it becomes a true decorative element that sparks children’s imaginations.

Why choose a large storage basket for a child’s room?

A large storage basket with a lid lets you gather lots of toys in one place and makes daily organization easier. Apple’s Extra Large size is particularly well-suited for bulky cuddly toys and blankets, which are often difficult to store in smaller containers. Its playful shape also encourages children to help with room storage.

With Apple Extra Large, Ferm Living reimagines children’s storage with imagination. A giant apple to bring nature, softness, and a touch of whimsy into their world.
