Apple Wall Shelf: Storage in the Shape of an Apple

Designed for children’s bedrooms, the Apple wall shelf combines practical storage with decorative appeal. Its generous apple-shaped silhouette is entirely covered in hand-woven natural rottan, wrapped around an internal iron frame that provides structural support. Three shelves are arranged inside the fruit, providing space for books, small toys, figurines, or decorative objects without cluttering the floor. Measuring 70 cm wide by 68 cm high, Apple serves as a true wall-mounted design element, equally useful for organizing the room and for giving it a warmer, more playful feel.

A stylized fruit that becomes a wall-mounted piece of furniture

Apple’s design is based on a simple yet highly expressive idea. The familiar shape of an apple is rendered in three dimensions through the weaving of rattan, while the stem and leaves extend the silhouette with an almost graphic touch. These elements must be threaded by hand before the wall fastening is completed. The artisanal craftsmanship of the rattan gives the piece subtle irregularities and prevents it from looking too uniform. The shelf thus retains a soft, natural, and instantly recognizable presence, making it particularly well-suited for a child’s room.

What can you store on an Apple wall shelf?

The Apple shelf is perfect for storing and displaying small everyday items. Its three shelves can hold books, toys, figurines, small accessories, or decorative objects. Vertical storage helps free up floor space while keeping items visible and accessible. This setup is especially useful in a child’s bedroom, where every surface counts.

How much space do you need to install this wall shelf?

Apple measures 70 cm wide by 68 cm high, with a depth of 12.5 cm. Its size is therefore generous enough to create a real storage solution on the wall, while remaining shallower than a freestanding piece of furniture. It can be placed above a small desk, a Chest of drawers, or in a reading nook, provided there is enough clear wall space.

How can you incorporate a rattan shelf into a child’s bedroom?

A rattan wall shelf pairs naturally with light-wood furniture, textiles in soft tones, or woven fabrics. Apple adds a warm touch to a bedroom without imposing a bold color, making it easy to incorporate into various decor styles. Its apple shape adds a playful touch, while the rattan retains a natural look that will stand the test of time.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a hand-woven item, so slight variations in color and FORMA are possible.

Somewhere between a small piece of furniture and wall decoration, Apple allows you to give a specific purpose to a section of wall while sparking the imagination in the bedroom. It’s a joyful way to display little treasures rather than simply storing them away.
