It is made up of several elements grouped together (including the stable, the shepherd's star, the donkey, the ox and the three kings), as well as a mobile part (Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus), all forming a light and harmonious decoration. Designed by Michael Boucquillon and Donia Maaoui, the Bark collection was launched in 2015 by Alessi. Its authors drew inspiration from their home, the Boucquillon House, a place for experimentation, meditation and work where you live in harmony with nature. The patterns and delicate materials used in the Bark series evoke the bark covering the trees around the house. The result? A wonderfully poetic collection in which each object has a form or function that contributes to the creation of a continuous and harmonious dialogue with nature.
